Usain Bolt Shares Medical Proof Of Hamstring Tear

Usain Bolt has sought to silence naysayers who think he didn’t suffer a torn hamstring during his final race at the IAAF World Championships in London earlier this month.
The Jamaican sprinter failed to finish the 4×100-metre relay after placing 3rd in the 100-meter final however after news surfaced that he was set to play at a charity game for Manchester United, many speculated that he faked his injury.
On Thursday, the eight-time Olympic champion uploaded a x-ray of his leg on Twitter giving his fans solid evidence.

“Sadly I have a tear of the proximal myotendinous junction of biceps femoris in my left hamstring with partial retraction. Three months rehab,” Bolt wrote. “I don’t usually release my medical report to the public but sadly I have sat and listened to people questioning if I was really injured.”
“I have never been one to cheat my fans in anyway and my entire desire at the championship was [to] run one last time for my fans,” he continued. “Thanks for the continued to support my fans and I rest, heal and move onto the next chapter of my life.”
Bolt has since deleted the tweets. According to sources, he will not recover in time which rules him out of next month’s match against Barcelona.
