Khago Beats The Odds; “Walk A Mile Album” Ranked #5 On Billboard Reggae Chart
The self-proclaimed “Sky God,” is currently soaring to the highest altitude possible.
Khago is currently celebrating the continued success of his “Walk A Mile,” album which is now ranked #5 on the Billboard Reggae chart behind the Grammy-winning “Stony Hill,” Album by Damian Marley.
Khago and his team are elated, as they analyze the success of his 2018 debut album, despite not getting any; support from local/international media houses, major radio station support nor having a wealthy label behind the distribution and promotion of “Walk A Mile,” they continued to achieve the unbelievable accomplishments.
Reggae albums typically debut high on the Billboard chart with an average of 40/50 copies the first week after release date, however Khago clinched a whopping figure of 230 debut sales.
“Elated … It’s an amazing feeling what we’re experiencing right now, imagine going up against an industry that attempted to completely erase you from the history of Reggae music. We have real fans and people who SUPPORT the music not merely a following.” Khago’s Road Manager told our reporters.
The 15 tracked compilation features his smash hit singles entitled “Walked A Mile,” “Stronger” & “Locked In” is now readily available for pre-order on Itunes.
